At Central Ohio Periodontics, your healthy smile is always our goal. More than that, your oral health and smile are our top priority. We’re happy you’re looking to take an important step forward to improved periodontal health. We strive to provide each of our patients with comprehensive, personal, and gentle care. This is because our mission is to help our patients live healthier lives.
Dr. Fred Sakamoto and his team specialize in implantology and periodontics. Our focus on non-invasive and surgical treatment of dental implants and gums enables us to replace one or more missing teeth in one day. We work closely with your referring dentist and make sure your treatment plan is a good fit for your health goals. But we don’t require a referral from your dentist to visit our office. Please feel free to schedule an appointment at any time.
Our team of experts, each with decades of experience, enjoys helping patients with every aspect of their dental treatment. We enjoy meeting and caring for new patients every day as well as attending continuing education classes in the dental field to keep us sharp! Donna graduated from The Ohio State University in 1989 with a BS degree in Health Information Management. She has been with the office since March 2016 and loves the various projects she gets to work on! In her spare time, Donna enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. She likes boating, reading, skiing and watching movies.

Amy graduated in 1999 from Owens Community College in Toledo with a Dental Hygiene/Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary Degree. She worked a year in General Dentistry, then joined Dr. Sakamoto’s periodontal team. Amy takes time with her patients to educate and answer questions. She loves patient interaction and helping to achieve healthy smiles. Working 3-4 days a week leaves time to spend with her husband and three children. Jazzercise is Amy’s favorite stress reliever.

Wendi started at Central Ohio Periodontics in 2021. She has 35 years of experience in the dental field and 27 years as a dental hygienist specifically in the field of periodontics. She loves interacting and developing special relationships with her patients and assisting with educating and improving their oral health. In her spare time, Wendi enjoys walking, paddleboarding, exercising and being in the sun and outdoors as much as possible.

In her free time you can find Marcy cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes and taking weekend trips to Cleveland to spoil her two granddaughters.
