Post-Op Instructions

PRESURGICAL INSTRUCTIONS

FOOD: 1. Please eat a good breakfast and/or lunch before your periodontal surgery appointment, unless otherwise instructed.

2. High protein and Vitamin C diet before and after surgery are especially important for good health.

PRESCRIPTIONS: 1. If you are under the care of a physician and are currently taking prescribed medications, please take your medication as prescribed unless otherwise instructed.

2. If Presurgical medication (sedatives, antibiotics, etc.) have been prescribed by our office follow the directions of each for your comfort and well1 being.

DRIVING: 1. If a sedative is to be taken, you should not drive a car under any circumstances. Please arrange to be driven both to your appointment and home following surgery. ATTIRE: Please wear loose fitting and comfortable clothes.
